 Sheep classes have been a part of our show since the beginning in the late 1800's. Early records show that originally there were classes for only one breed (thought probably to be Greyfaced Dartmoors).

Barring two World Wars and Foot & Mouth

Disease outbreaks sheep have been shown at

every show since and there are now classes for

4 breeds, which are

Greyfaced Dartmoors, White Face Dartmoors

  Scotch Black Face, and  Other Commercial Closewool breeds, as well as a class for Prime lambs, Young Handlers and a Supreme Sheep Championship.
