Horticulture Show 

Lots of changes coming for 2019: new classes including home brewed beer and flavoured gin; free to enter Summer Garden Competition; re-vamped judging and this year all exhibits should be dropped off on Friday 9th August between 12 noon and 6pm because judging will be on Friday evening!   This will mean that visitors can see the Horticulture Tent in all its glory right from the start of the show on Saturday.  Exhibits can be collected after 4pm on show day.

And here are a few things for you to think about and get cracking on for this year’s Horticulture Show!

Handicraft categories will be:-  Any Knitted item; Any Cross Stitched item; Jewellery; A Wooden item; Pottery and Anything
Else Handmade (that fits into car to be brought to the show).

The Categories for Art will be:- A Pastel Picture; A Watercolour Painting; An Oil or Acrylic Painting and Sketchbook Studies.

Children’s Art Categories are:- A Boat made from Woodland finds; A Handmade Hat; A Junk Model of your Choice; A Lego Model (not a kit)

Under 16’s Media Categories are:- A ‘Selfie’ style portrait with a filter (can by of anyone, including your gran!), A Poster designed for the Cornwood Show and An Animal Life Video (max. time One Minute.
